- The purpose of this document is to detail the structure of the BSP file format used by Quake 2 to store maps; in particular, the focus is on rendering Quake 2 worlds.
In addition to just a bare description of the BSP file format, this document also attempts explain the techniques which are at the core of the Quake rendering engine.

- quake gateway-mod (teleport to another server)
- The mod lets the server admin create 'special' teleporters in a map. These 'gateways' transport a player to a new server when the player walks on them and stays there for 3 seconds. They also display info (name, name of MOD running, short description) about the target server when the player stands near them.
It is a server side mod not requiring the clients (players) to download anything.

- RQ2Proxy is a pair of programs that allow you to play Quake II (and potentially other games) through a firewall. One program (the proxy client) sits inside the firewall, and pretends to be a server to the Quake II game, communicating via TCP with another program (the proxy server) which sits outside the firewall and pretends to be a client to the Quake II game server.
